This tracks where each state's U.S. House map stands for 2026 — settled, redrawn mid-decade, or still in the courts — and the active cases that could change it. How to read this
A map is redrawn when new congressional lines are enacted or ordered mid-decade; in litigation when a pending case could still change the 2026 map; settled when the post-2020 map is in place with no active change; and at-large for the single-district states, which have nothing to redistrict. Status is an editorial judgment, not a legal ruling — it can change as cases resolve. Every figure traces to a row on the sources page; this snapshot is current as of June 20, 2026.
